Dear Dad,
Still at war.
Trap and I aren't sure what it's at war with, but I haven't had a martini in hours.
Hawkeye is smart and snarky, usually at the same time, yes. He'll probably be wearing his uniform, though never properly, which would be: black boots, green pants, open long-sleeved green jacket and pale green t-shirt, plus dogtags. Occasionally, this may involve a ratty maroon bathrobe, surgical scrubs, or a kimono. He is tall (6'2") and lanky with a perpetual stoop. He's got blue eyes and black hair, usually has at least a five o'clock shadow going on, if not a nine or ten o'clock, and, oh yes -- he's handsome. He only uses the power for good, though.

Hawkeye enters Milliways from a non-specific point in the first three seasons. He isn't quite as disillusioned and angry as he will one day be, though if anyone suggested that to him at the moment, he'd think they were nuts.
As shrink Sidney Freedman once said: "Anger turned inward is depression. Anger turned sideways is Hawkeye."
