Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce didn't ask to go to the Korean War -- he's still on the lookout for one with better pay and weekends off -- but he's there anyway and he does his job, pretty damn well in fact. That job is one of surgeon for the 4077th M*A*S*H unit.
